WinSport Para Ice Hockey Camp

WinSport and the Calgary Sledge Hockey Association, in conjunction with the Calgary Adapted Hub powered by Jumpstart is hosting a Free Para Ice Hockey camp from July 25 – July 29.  The camp will run 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily and will feature two on-ice sledge hockey sessions and an off-ice session, all led by a National Para Hockey Team member!

This FREE camp is for all ages and ability levels (beginner to intermediate players)

MNP Community & Sport Centre : Inclusive Summer Sport Camps

MNP Community & Sport Centre Summer Camps are for ages 2-13 years.  Summer Camps will run from 8:30am-12:30pm for the half day camps and 8:30am-4:30pm for the full day camps. Mount Royal University: Para Sport Camp

Introducing MRU’s newest adapted sports camp! This program exposes participants to a variety of experiences that will teach them about adaptive sports, inclusion, and the skills and rules of popular para sports such as wheelchair basketball and goalball. This camp is offered to youth with physical disabilities to try something new.

NOTE: This camp is reserved for campers with physical disabilities.

University of Calgary: Adapted Sport & Recreation Camp

Come discover your abilities! This camp is centered upon giving campers with disabilities the opportunity to explore various adapted sport, recreational and leisure activities. Different programs from the Calgary area provide the opportunity for each camper to experience a trial of the adapted physical activity programming they offer throughout the year. Campers get to challenge themselves physically through activities such as: yoga, gymnastics, dance, boccia, karate, tennis, sledge hockey, cycling, swimming, VOLT Hockey and a variety of wheelchair sports like basketball and fencing. Please note that the described activities are subject to change and are presented as examples only. Campers also get to explore their creative side through arts & crafts projects in between activity sessions. The goal of this camp is to increase each camper’s confidence in their ability to participate in school and community programs. This camp is offered in partnership with the Vi Riddell Pediatric Rehabilitation Research Program and The Calgary Adapted Hub Powered by Jumpstart.
